Lily got to spend two days home from school this week with Gramma Deb. I heard they had a lot of fun (I still had to go to work )but I did get to eat mom's cookin'.... YUM! The weather wasn't too nice but they just got to spend time together which I know Lily liked a lot. There were cooking projects and art projects too. We can't wait until she gets to visit again.
My plants are doing ok. There are twelve tomatoes but they won't seem to turn red : ( I am really trying. I hope I at least get a few good ones. We'll see.
Not much else going on with us...summer is winding down, which I can't believe and Lily will move to the Preschool Room on September 2nd- when the older kids go back to school and some space opens up. I am excited for her but a little nervous to see how she does in a much bigger classroom.

Hi Everyone!
We've had a busy couple of weeks! Two weeks ago we went to a brand new park in Bellevue with Micah and his son Elliot. We all had fun together running around and exploring for the afternoon.
Lily has also been working really hard on Potty Training. Her teacher says she is ready to start transitioning to the Preschool room now because she is doing well and having only a few accidents. I love not having to buy so many diapers!
Lily has also been developing quite and imagination. Her playing includes all kinds of interesting scenarios now. She plays with her animals and I hear "Mommy" and I keep thinking she is talking to me but really she is just in her own world with her imagination.
I've been pretty busy too though I did take two days off last week for some "me" time. Micah and I explored the UW Campus (more like he showed me everything since he went there). I also had time to clean up my house and do all the errands I'd been meaning to get around to forever. When I went back to work Wednesday I actually felt rested and ready to go. Nice!
At the park twice now Lily has actually played with other kids. This is so awesome for her because most of the time she is so shy she doesn't want to play with kids she doesn't know. She still wanted me very close by but it was still great. I guess one of these days she won't want me around at all so its fine with me. Anyway, with so many people and strangers around I want to keep her in my sight at all times!
Grandma Deb is coming to visit this week…yeah! We can't wait to spend time with her. Today we are at Poppa's house again. We're going to have a BBQ dinner here since my apartment is sooo hot. Hope you are all doing well.

Arghh!
I wish I had gotten a picture of this but picture lily with only a shirt on (no pants), she takes a blue plastic cup and puts her left foot inside. "Look Mommy, I'm a pirate!" The cup was her peg leg. It was hilarious, but I guess you had to be there. What an imagination she has. The other day she painted her arms green and said, "Look Mommy, I'm a Care Bear!" I promise to have more pictures sometime this weekend... I have some really cute ones to post.

Our Week
We had fun this week. Lily went to school everyday in underwear and she had only a few accidents. On Wednesday Uncle Johnny came over for dinner and we made tacos. Yum. On friday we had a sleepover at Gramma Di and Papa's house. Maddie let us sleep in her room and today we have had a lot of fun with Lily's swimming pool (thanks auntie Joeleen! ). We've also been playing in the dirt, smelling the flowers and just hanging out.
Digging in the dirt
