Underwear!!!!

I sent Lily to school today in her big girl underwear! I can't wait to pick her up and see how she did! We were both pretty excited and her teacher is confident she will do well. Way to go Lily! I am so proud of her! Now I think I need to buy her a few more "spare pairs" just in case.

UPDATE!!!!!!!! Lily had no accidents Thurday and Friday at school! Awesome! She is doing great! Even at home she'e been such a big girl!

Boxes

So Lily loves this box. She climbs in and out. She puts toys in and pushes them around. She even climbs in while she watches a movie. Who knew a box could be so entertaining?

If you have a refrigerator or other big box you want to get rid of...we'll take it! We could make a big fort...maybe paint it, make windows....I would have as much fun as Lily!

Earlier last week Lily didn't want to get out of bed so I bribed her with my camera. And it worked.

From grumpy to cute in...5.3. Well it took a little longer but that's okay. It worked.

Bedtime Rituals

Everynight before bed and after our stories I ask Lily what she wants to sleep with that night. Usually it is puppy or baby lion. Last fall it was her pumpkins (three of them- clean) last night we slept with..

3 ponies (still wet from their bath)
Puppy
Toy Telephone
Pink Blankie
...and an umbrella (in the up position)
oh and her feather and me too!

Sorry I don't have any pictures today.. but I wanted to share anyway!

Lily: When I grow up I want to be a baby.

Mommy: What will you do when you are a baby?

Lily: Play with my monkey!

I am constantly amazed at the ways her little mind works...

At school Lily is having a lot of fun. She finally was able to climb up on the "big toys" to go down the slide all by herself. She says "I'm not afraid anymore!" She also got a certificate last week from her teacher for her "Outstanding Behavior." Way to go, Lily!
Here is an old picture I just came across...June 2006
